Now in its 23rd year, the Communications Competition has introduced several new contests this year, including Mobileheroes Global, the Communications Antenna System Design Competition, and the Next-Generation Communications Energy Efficiency Optimization Competition. Startups and student teams from various disciplines are welcome to participate.

The international contest has expanded into Mobileheroes Global, which has been held for five consecutive years and is conducted entirely in English. Taiwanese teams participate every year. This international contest provides an opportunity to interact with teams from different countries, learn how different cultures approach problem-solving, and gives Taiwanese teams a chance to access international resources and exposure.

Additionally, this year marks the launch of the Communications Innovation Energy Efficiency Optimization Competition. With the increasing number of wireless devices&mdashfrom infrastructure to personal portable devices&mdashimproving performance and saving energy has become a critical issue in the ICT industry. The industry needs many innovative ideas and technologies to achieve the goal of environmental sustainability.
